Painting and teaching are very important and exciting to me. The beauty that surrounds me inspires my paintings by capturing and driving my creativity. The joy of my painting is "a moment in time", captured on canvas, that can be shared and enjoyed with others. The smell of paints, sensitivity of my touch while using a brush and/or palette knives bring my painting to life. Not being able to paint is depressing but as soon as a brush or knife is in my hand and I begin to apply color to the canvas, I am happy. The process of creating is the wonderful journey that ends so I can begin another journey all over again. Life is wonderful when I paint!!! Through my classes, I am able to share with others what I have learned about capturing a "a moment in time."
