Media: Oils, Watercolor
I was born in the hills of Southwestern Pennsylvania just nineteen days after the Japanese visited Pearl Harbor in 1941. I have always enjoyed making things from scratch. Art seemed the next logical step in the process. I attended CSU’s art department in the mid 1970s as a sculpture student, graduating with a BFA. The most valuable lessons were from art history.
I enjoy painting in oils or watercolors and prefer that my work tells a story if possible. I hope my efforts produce something that most viewers can enjoy and relate to. Subject matter includes just about everything, since producing artwork seems to be an ongoing learning process. I’ve lived in Colorado since 1968 and feel much at home in Loveland.
