Mary Benke

Mary Benke became interested in painting in high school and college, where I earned degrees in journalism and English at USC, while also taking oil painting and drawing classes. After working as a magazine editor/graphic designer for over 20 years, I rediscovered art by taking watercolor classes in 2003. Began pastel painting in 2005, and have attended pastel still life and watercolor workshops.
