Lincoln Gallery Events
and Regional Events
To encourage art awareness in the community, TVAL and the Lincoln Gallery sponsor and participate in various events throughout the year. Among them are:
Second Friday 'Night on the Town'
The Lincoln Gallery joins other businesses and galleries in Downtown Loveland on the second Friday evening of each month for the "Night on the Town" celebration.
Galleries, businesses and restaurants open their doors to visitors, receptions, music and fun from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in Downtown Loveland.
Come and join the fun -- see old friends and meet new ones -- and enjoy the fun in Downtown Loveland.
Art in the Park
The 44th Art in the Park Festival will be held in North Lake Park on Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday, August 10, 2008 from 9:30am to 4pm.

Each year on the second weekend of August in conjunction with the two major outdoor sculpture shows, The Thompson Valley Art League sponsors "Art In The Park", an annual arts and craft festival. Participants come from all parts of the country making this one of the largest outdoor shows in Northern Colorado.
This event is the major source of income for the TVAL. The TVAL joins with the City of Loveland Parks and Recreation Department in sponsoring this event.
Exhibitor and visitor information is available early summer of each year. If you need early information, contact our gallery director at any time.
Starving Artists Sale
At the end of each year, just in time for the holidays, the TVAL and Lincoln Gallery feature our Starving Artists sale.
Visitors can get great bargains on original artwork. Our artists get the chance to move art and extra supplies out of their studios and make them available to others.
Regional Events
Martin Luther King Day Celebration
Your art league has partnered with the Martin Luther King Day Celebration
committee to produce a special showing of artworks in conjunction with
the city MLK Celebration. TVAL will be in charge of setting up the exhibit
and collecting the ballots for the People's Choice Award. This will be
awarded to the artwork garnering the most votes at the MLK event evening
at Thompson Valley High School on January 21st, 2008. The theme for this
year is "Why we can't wait" - it will be exciting to see the artistic
interpretations! Please consider creating a piece for this event and pass
this information on to artist friends. Questions: Contact Jenifer Cline
