Shows at the Lincoln Gallery
To encourage artists, TVAL and the Lincoln Gallery sponsor various shows throughout the year. Among them are:
Sweet-Art Show
The Sweet-Art Show is held each February. This juried show, is open to all members of the Art League.
The show features the following categories:
- Watercolor
- Acrylic
- Oil
- Pastel
- Photography
- 3-D
- Mixed Media - Charcoal, Pen & Ink, Pencil, Collage or Other
Cash awards and ribbons are presented in each category. Artists may submit up to three pieces and may enter more than one category.
Summer Fine Art Show
This juried show, held each summer, is open to all artists wishing to submit work in the categories below.:

- OIL PAINTING: oil paint and water-soluble oil paint
- WATER MEDIA: gouache, tempera, casein or watercolor
- MIXED MEDIA: pencil, charcoal, pen/ink, colored pencil,
collage, mono-prints or combinations of media - PHOTOGRAPHY: Recording an object with an image-forming
device. Image may be manipulated by emulsion or a
digital means from artists original mage. Computer
graphic work not accepted - THREE DIMENSIONAL: includes Bas Relief
- ACRYLIC: Acrylic polymer based emulsion or paint
- PASTEL: chalk or oil based
An artist reception is held where awards are presented in each category.
Fall Festival
October 1 to November 5, 2011 will be the “2011 Fall Festival Art Show". Eight Certificates of Excellence, a Juror’s Choice for Best of Show Certificate, A People’s Choice Certificate and a special “Fall Theme” Certificate will be awarded.
This year's juror will be Rosetta, one of Loveland's longtime premier bronze sculptors.
The show features the following categories:
- Watercolor
- Acrylic
- Oil
- Pastel
- Photography
- Mixed Media - charcoal, pen & ink, pencil, collage or other media not described
- Three-Dimensional
