The Lincoln Gallery and the Thompson Valley Art League invite you to enter the TVAL 2026 Members Fine Art Show.
The exhibition will run from February 6 through February 27 with the Artists’ Reception and Awards Presentation on Friday, February 6, at 6 pm The Awards Presentation will be at 6:30 pm and streamed live on Facebook
Open to all TVAL members (Exhibiting and Supporting) who have joined prior to January 1, 2026. Apply for membership here .
Deadline to enter: Tuesday, January 27, 2026, Midnight, MST. Enter the show by completing the online entry form. There is no fee for entry.
Awards for Best of Show, Second Place, Third Place. Awards are based on all mediums considered together.

Requirements:
- Media: you may enter ONE artwork in any medium
- Work must be original art, not copied from published photos or works by other artists.
- No installations or sets of works to make one entry will be accepted.
- The jury reserves the right to disqualify any work which it considers to be in poor taste, inappropriate or does not adhere to the stated qualifications.
- Entries that have been accepted in previous Lincoln Gallery or Thompson Valley Art League sponsored shows are not permitted.
- Photos of artwork, which will be used for the online gallery, will be required at the time of the application.
- Entry deadline: January 27, 2026, Midnight. Mountain Standard Time (MST)
- Photos must be labeled in their image file: LastnameFirstname_Title_Medium_size_price.jpg
For measurements of artworks, best practice is to indicate the height first. So size would be height x width. - Title your image file in the correct format before uploading it as part of your entry!
Example: SmithJohn_Portrait of Grandma_Acrylic_20x16_400.jpg - Photos of artwork, which will be used for the online gallery, will be required at the time of the application.
Entries:
- 2-D
Each Member allowed one piece with maximum size of 60 linear inches (height plus
width, i.e. a 30"x30” piece = 60 linear inches). Total inches include frame.
o All 2D artwork must be wired, no sawtooth hangers will be accepted
o Artwork, matting and frames must be in excellent condition
o Gallery-wrapped photographs and paintings are acceptable as long as all sides are painted or finished with no visible staples. Gallery-wrapped canvas must be secured on stretcher bars of at least 1.5” in thickness.
o Wood panels or boards are acceptable with clean or painted sides.
o Flatwork to be hung must weigh no more than 25 lbs.
- 3-D
o Each Member allowed one piece which may not measure more than 20 inches in any one
dimension. and weigh no more than 25 lbs.
o Wall-mounted relief works are considered 3-D and must be wired for hanging and weigh no
more than 25 lbs.
While the Lincoln Gallery will undertake the utmost care in handling all entries, the
Gallery will not be held liable for damage occurring either while in the gallery or during
delivery. Insuring the artwork is the responsibility of the artist.

Details:
- All work must be labeled on the back with artist’s name, category, title of artwork and price.
- Any work deemed to be less than represented in entry or with presentation/appearance deemed to be unacceptable will not be exhibited.
