I’m loving my retirement and “living the dream” of being an artist!
Ever since I was in the third grade I wanted to be an artist. I did well in high school art classes and studied art for two years at university.
Fate, however, destined me to become a chef for 25 years. Then, at 50 years old, I quit cheffing and became a dealer in rare books, art and antiques for another 25 years. I retired two years ago and am now finally living my dream of being an artist. I paint in acrylics and enjoy geometric abstract style. With bright colors!
During my years of dealing in rare books, art and antiques I amassed a collection of antique and interesting old beads which I now use to create new and beautiful necklace and earring sets.
