So many skies, such interesting shadows, light changing by the minute
I consider my work to be "Impressionist Landscapes". Spending my life in the western outdoors, a lot of my work comes from references I collect while painting Plein Aire and wandering thru Colorado, Wyoming, southern Utah and Arizona. I am my happiest outside and painting.
I have a degree in Fine Art and Advertising Design. I spent the majority of my life as an art director, graphic designer illustrator, and children’s art teacher. I ran my graphic design company, Red Willow Design, specializing in helping start-up companies translate their new products and services into a visual presence in their markets. Creating a full spectrum of commercial art and design needs.
At this point in my life ,it has been nice to transition away from a screen and on to a canvas.
