Who are we?

Our Mission:

TVAL's mission is to promote an enthusiastic pursuit of art, to encourage and support individual artists, to provide them with opportunities to obtain public recognition, to advance to the public the appreciation and practice of the arts and to assist in the collection of works of art.

​Art in the Park Outdoor Festival - August 10 & 11, 2024

For over fifty years Art in the Park has been the Thompson Valley Art League's largest fundraiser and is Colorado's oldest outdoor festival. There are over 175 juried artisans showing a diverse collection of excellent artwork. This artisan festival is run in conjunction with Sculpture in the Park, an internationally acclaimed event.

Sponsor The Mural Project!

BE PART OF THE ART
We need your support!
Bring a new mural to life in downtown Loveland, CO!

The Mural:
​Adden Joule Davis (AJ) will be bringing his mural concept, “Reflections,” to life on the three exterior walls of the Lincoln Gallery during the month of June.  When completed, this mural will not only be a significant ART statement in Loveland, but it will COME ALIVE (using AR - Augmented Reality technology) when a phone camera is held up to specific locations on the mural. We anticipate that Loveland residents and Northern Colorado tourists will be stopping by quite frequently to take in this innovative public art piece. ​

Funding:
The total budget of this mural is $ 25,000.  The Visual Arts Commission of Loveland (VAC) has provided a generous $10,000 grant to support the creation of this mural.  As an organization, we are responsible for paying the $15,000 balance.  While we set aside the balance amount to complete the mural - it is a large expense for our non-profit to absorb without compromising our art community offerings.  We need your help!  This as a unique opportunity for the public to join us in supporting the visual arts in Loveland!

We are inviting our community to sponsor this mural through donations.  Each donation of $250+ will receive a sponsorship recognition.   We are encouraging all our members and supporters to consider giving and sharing in this fun and impressive project! Make your $250 or other donation below!

​The Thompson Valley Art League is the home of Loveland’s FIRST Augmented Reality (AR) Mural created by Denver muralist, Adden Joule Davis.

​A startup grant from the VAC is making this mural possible. We invite our community to assist in raising funds to support the completion of this mural.
