It warms me to know people enjoy having my works in their home or business . . . .
A Coloradan since 1976, I grew up in Waverly, just north of Fort Collins. Loveland has been my home since 1996. Photography has interested me since I was very young. More than an interest, it functions as an escape as well as an expression. My family has talent in this genre which enhanced the incorporation of it to my life. The most influential being my grandfather who was an amateur for many decades; even won some award and accolades.
I obtained a journalism degree and spent a little time in that industry. But my career path went towards IT. I'm now a cyber security engineer in healthcare. I enjoy the challenge yet it definitely requires a periodic escape into the arts. Fortunately, I never lost my pleasure in capturing images.
Years ago, I attended photography classes and even went on a photo expedition cross-country skiing through Yellowstone. Much of my learning was (and still is) through observation, reading and trial & error. Friends and family have noted some of my work is wall worthy and encouraged me to "get out there". So, I finally decided to venture out into the public realm. Hopefully, I can be among the ranks of fantastic, local talent and continue to grow in this art form.
