Cancellation Policy
Our classes/workshops depend on your attendance. To protect our instructors and others in the class, we will need a written notification of at least 5 business days prior to receive a full refund. You may choose to transfer to another class of the same cost. Cancellation less than 5 days are non-refundable. If a class needs to be cancelled due to instructor or enrollment issues, a full refund will be issued. |

The beauty of Colorado’s vast landscapes can be challenging to capture in a painting. Come learn a process for creating beautiful art from even the most complex landscapes. Learn how to simplify, bring focus and a strong design to what you see and translate that into a successful painting. Watercolor’s properties of light and transparency make it an excellent medium for capturing the vibrant colors of Colorado’s fall.

Having fun mixing color harmonies in oil is also an excellent way to understand color harmony, to paint any subject and take your
painting to the next level. Whether you are a seasoned painter or a beginner, Kay will help you tap into your inner creative artist. Using a palette knife to mix and keeping your palette colors simple creates harmony. Kay will demonstrate “the how” with her technique and show you how to mix lovely neutrals next to vivid colors to create expressive, yet unified paintings. |

Students will explore the wonderful world of kiln-formed glass. Kiln formed glass is an art form where separate pieces of glass are subjected to high heat (1200 F to 1600 F) to “fuse” the pieces together.
Students will create fused glass snowflakes. The snowflakes will measure 6 inches across, suitable for wall decorations. |

Suggested for anyone over age 16. Deb has been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for 24 years. During that time
she has done demonstrations at customer's homes and taught classes of various paper crafting techniques in her home and for groups of other fellow paper crafters. |
In this class, Deb will lead you through making five large (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 ") elegant Christmas cards perfect for those special to you this holiday season.
We will be using a variety of techniques including the following:
We will be using manual die cutting machines to create elements to decorate the cards. Everything you need to create the cards including tools, adhesive and envelopes will be included.

Brightening a winter’s day, a small chickadee brings life to snowy winter foliage. Learn keys for strong composition and design needed to create a fun, interpretive vignette background. Capture the lively character of an easily rendered chickadee in just a few brush strokes. Tips will be shared for maintaining color harmony and for creating a range of harmonious, natural-looking greens. A variety of finishing techniques will be presented to bring added life and movement to your painting.
