Marc Jones – “Grand Mesa” acrylic on canvas, framed 24” x 30” Retail: $2,500 Sale price: $1,250 I have been to the Grand Mesa a few times but this one time was in early June. I drove up from Grant Junction along Route 50 to Lands End Road. This dirt road travels along the west side of the mesa to the top. The top of Grand Mesa is about 10,000 ft in elevation. Once on top we were greeted with amazing views to the west.Heading east we came to the most beautiful field of wild flowers I've ever seen! The enormous field of flowers with views across the Uncompahgre Plateau west to the mountains in Utah was the basis for this painting. |

"What I love about Friday Night on the Town is the community of artists here in Loveland that take the time and effort to socialize, and explain what drives their art. Loveland is unique in the fact that it supports a large and diverse artist community in a relatively small city. This is truly one of the main reasons my wife and I moved here 4 years ago.
One of the first juried Gallery shows I entered was the Lincoln Gallery Regional Fine Arts Show, and I got in! This new town and new gallery were very welcoming to me as an artist. This year I joined Lincoln Gallery and could not be happier.
The Friday Night on the Town Gallery Walk gives me the opportunity to talk directly to the public - to see what types of art interest them and to explain the how and why of my life’s work. Everyone’s vision of art is different! Will you help us keep all this going by donating to our GoFundMe effort." -- Marc Jones

Linda Renaud – Buyer’s choice: either “Mama Mia” or “I’m Looking Over” both are watercolor wax batik paintings, framed Retail: $750 One time only: $375 Explanation: both paintings are available; I’m only donating ONE of them. The buyer gets to pick which one they want. “Mama Mia” Every now and then I get to witness an interaction between a mother and her young. This buffalo calf was on a straight bee-line for his mama! His homing instinct was strong and she was there to make sure he would be safe. “I’m Looking Over” This yearling elk calf was photographed in Rocky Mountain National Park. He and a number of other elk were grazing on a hillside. I loved it when he picked up his head and the clover was hanging out of his mouth like a cigarette! A fun photo and an enjoyable painting to paint. |

"I moved to this area from North Dakota. As I have occasionally been heard to mutter, “It’s not the end of the world, but you can see it from there.” Artists are a rare breed, and there are not a lot of opportunities in many places across the U.S. When I knew I was moving to the Loveland area I did a Google search to see what possibilities awaited me. I found the Thompson Valley Art League – and if you were juried in, they had a gallery. Say what? I had never had such an opportunity. THIS IS RARE. So I’m grateful – for the camaraderie, the support, and the chance to see my paintings hung amid so many other outstanding works of art. I support Lincoln Gallery and TVAL. Will you help me – and all of us? Thank you for helping our community have this wonderful place for the arts." -- Linda Renaud
"About 4 or 5 years ago, members of the Lincoln Gallery decided to expand our visibility both regionally and nationally. Thus began our Regional and National Fine Art Shows.
The National Fine Art Show in particular has greatly expanded our reach and visibility, with 560 entries in last year’s show from artists from 24 states stretching from Washington to Florida and New York to California. The quality and variety of work submitted was exciting, encouraging and humbling. We had hundred of art lovers attend the opening reception; the energy generated by the show has stimulated both our artists and supporting members as well as the city of Loveland and Northern Colorado.
